The history of this fine eatery dates back to 1853 when Christian Frederik Bredo Grandjean opened a pâtisserie on the premises. Celebrities from the nearby Royal Theatre were among the regular patrons as was a very special friend of the house - Hans Christian Andersen. Enjoy a fine gourmet lunch or dinner in a warm, ambient atmosphere. Six beautiful murals adorn the interior. Four of them symbolise the seasons, and two represent the twin muses of dance and music.
