Amber Museum Copenhagen

Copenhagen Amber Museum is one of the most recognized amber museums in the world. The museum is located in Kanneworff's House, which is one of the oldest houses in Copenhagen dating back to 1606.

Amber's ability to preserve insects and plants, which became trapped in the resin millions of years ago, is a unique window to a bygone era.

The museum houses an impressive display of raw amber stones, impressive carvings and amber artefacts. In the associated museum shop you will find amber jewellery of the highest quality and most fashionable design.
