Årre Church

Årre Church has a Romanesque chancel and nave and a late Gothic tower. A restoration took place in 1882 and in 1930. The pulpit is from 1682 and very beautiful.

The altarpiece from 1931 is in a kind of late Gothic style with paintings, and there are two older altar paintings in the church. The granite baptismal font has peculiar reliefs of mythical animals, birds, male figures, a lion and a cross. The pulpit dates from 1618, and the beautiful chair work in the early Renaissance from 1682.
