Batteri Hanstholm 1
The battery "Hanstholm I" was put up in 1940, and was a part of the german coast-defence in Denmark under the world war II.
In the summer of 1942 the battery was put on it´s finally position in the dunes south for Hanstholm lighthouse. The germans also made bunkers to the canons, fire management, ammunition and to protection of the men. Those bunkers is today lieing as ruins. It is possible to get in to the bunkers, but remember a torch.
