12 km from the city of Kerteminde you’ll find one of Denmark’s most idyllic bed and breakfasts.
North of Storebælt, at Bøgebjerg beach on the beautiful Hindsholm peninsula north is a wonderful old farm. Although Bjørnegården burnt down in the summer of 2012, it was rebuilt and restored in the spring of 2013 with eight magnificent rooms.
Bjørnegården B&B is the perfect place to indulge and relax.
A stay at Bjørnegården is equivalent to a vacation close to coast and nature, which is the reason the Kerteminde area is often referred to as the “Garden by the Sea”. Here nature and the sea meet in a beautiful unity with idyllic villages, hills, islets and fantastic surroundings where visitors and residents can indulge and enjoy a truly authentic environment.
The farm is a great place with good service and cosy rooms. Each room is decorated true to the old farm’s authenticity – with asymmetric angles and a view of either garden or sea. The farm is surrounded by beautiful nature with access to a miniature park-like courtyard where tranquillity, shade and sun is available throughout the year.
There are eight rooms and three bathrooms with toilets.
One room has its own bathroom and toilet, while the remaining bathrooms are shared with the neighbouring room.
The B&B host is Bent Nielsen.
In June 2013 Bjørnegården B&B was approved as B&B Ole Lukøje accommodation and fulfils all necessary requirements as a quality B&B.
Bjørnegården B&B has been awarded 4 stars by VisitKerteminde
