Beautiful white-washed roman church with a tower raised on stilts and porch from about the year 1200.
Inside the church epitaphs and gravestones for former vicars can be seen. You will also find a crucifix above the triumphal arch remaining from the Catholic era.
The painting which is a central part of the altarpiece is of the Emmaus wanderers.
It was completed by A. Dorph in 1895.
The pulpit is a simple renaissance piece (about 1640) with naïve portraits of the four evangelists with their respective symbols in the squares.
Roman babtismal font in granite decorated with lions from about 1700.
You can borrow the key to the church from the sexton.
In general the church is only open for church services on special dates. To read more about this, go to the church's own website: http://www.blegindkirke.dk/index.php?id=29689
