Surrounded by scenic nature to the east you find Børkop Watermill (Børkop Mølle). The fully-functioning watermill with waterwheel and millstones grinds oats and flour. The local heritage museum ”Farbror Svends Samling” (Uncle Svend’s Collection) is featured in an old pigsty where you can see old farm and artisan craft tools and domestic utensils from olden days.
The former farmhouse has been converted into a gourmet restaurant serving delicious cuisine. The museum and the watermill are open every weekend and public holiday (except Mondays) during the summer from at. 14:00 to 17:00. Here you can visit the watermill in action and you can buy freshly ground flour and oats from the miller.
