There are more than 100 public playgrounds in Copenhagen, some of which are staffed between 9am and 5pm. All children are welcome. Feeding the ducks is always a popular pastime, but please do not feed the ducks bread or cake, as this is not their natural diet. Buy bird-seed instead. A rainy day is a good excuse for showing the kids that museums aren't necessarily boring. A number of museums have special children's sections: the National Museum, the Royal Museum of Fine Art, and the Lousiana Museum of Modern Art. It is also quite common for Copenhageners to take their children with them when visiting cafés or restaurants. In many places, staff can provide a high chair if required. Children's menus are very common.
