'Den Gl. Gaard' in Stubberup is idyllically situated overlooking the Baltic Sea, open fields and forest - close to the motorway slip road and just 5 minute's drive from the small holiday town of Nysted.
In the charming, renovated building, there is a furnished dining and function room with fireplace and bar. The function room caters for up to 60 guests with access to a cosy inner courtyard. In addition, there is another function room available, which caters for up to 80 guests. Moreover, there is a piano and billiards in the room, which means that guests of the holiday centre can also use it as a recreation room. Wireless internet and office facilities are available in the main building.
Excellent local catering is available for parties and functions, as there is no à la carte restaurant on the premises.
'Den Gl. Gaard' has 54 newly renovated apartments suitable for a maximum of 4 persons, each with its own kitchen and bathroom, bedroom with a double bed and access to a small terrace as well as a double sofa bed in the living room and TV. There is a large common area with an outdoor swimming pool, which is available in the summer months, a small playground, a basketball court, table tennis as well as access to sauna, washing machine and tumble dryer facilities.
Breakfast can be ordered a day in advance.
This little paradise is situated within walking distance of the delightful Stubberup Harbour, where you will also find a bathing jetty and large park area.
The asphalted cycling path runs directly past Aalholm Castle and ends at Nysted Harbour.
