Things are hardly normal in Copenhagen! Some call it the greatest urban transport experiment in world. Facts are that 63% of all Copenhageners commute to work every day on a bike! That's a whole lot! Some bike lanes in Copenhagen are even much wider than the normal road! There is even coordinated traffic lights during morning rush hours to so that if they bike at a speed of 12 mi/h, they will hit green lights all the way into the city. It's called the green wave. How awesome is that? Furthermore Copenhagen has all kinds of bike bridges over the canals which makes getting around Copenhagen super convenient. In 2015 Copenhagen became the most bike friendly city in the world, overtaking Amsterdam. There is nothing quite like biking in Copenhagen.
