Museum for Immigration:
The History of immigration to Denmark for more than 500 years. The exhibitions gives the visitor a brief survey of the evaluetion of legislation for immigration but, the visitor are allso challenged! Quite uniquely the exhibitions "plays around" with each and every visitors personal ideas, thoughts and prejudices about immigration and immigrants.
Village History of Farum from pre-historic times to the 1950's are on exhibit in this charming old building. On focus is primarely daily living by end of 19th and beginning of 20th century.
On exhibit is the suburban evaluation from the 1950's to present times. Also the long lines in the history of immigration to Denmark focusing the cultural differences and changes to the society are on exhibit here.
An old local merchant's shop revived as it was during the 1930's.
