Frederikshåb Mill Park
Frederikshåb Mill Park is located in a beautiful setting full of trees, bushes and an abundance of flowers by the Torgunsminde farm. The windmill park was constructed by Gunnar Nielsen in partnership with his wife, Inga.
Frederikshåb Mill Park was created between the mid-1990s and 2013, the year when Gunnar Nielsen died. The place has now been taken over by his son, Per Torben Nielsen.
Frederikshåb Mill Park consists of nine windmills and a few watermills made of fir wood and larch.
The windmills are approximately half-size in relation to the originals. You can enter several of the windmills up to the first and second floor, and three of them feature a grain mill.
You can enjoy your packed lunch at a small forest cabin or by the benches in the area where you can see a small exhibition about the mill project. There is also a ballroom for up to 70 people.
In addition, there is a campfire site and you can borrow a BBQ.
