The Give-Egnens Museum

The local heritage museum, Give-Egnens Museum, lets you get close to history. The permanent exhibitions include “The moorland farm”, “The merchant street”, “The old school room,” “Textile and handicraft,” and “The Niels Kjeldsen room”.

Those with a sweet tooth can visit the heritage kitchen and taste freshly baked waffles from the wood stove.

During the year, you can experience 2-3 special exhibitions with different themes.

Visitors are free to wander around the museum grounds, including the fields, the medical herb garden, the vegetable garden and the apple grove and forest, which features is a fun woodland playground and a campfire site. Activities are organised throughout the year, including lectures, concerts, winter and autumn activities, summer and autumn school activities, children's livestock shows, harvest and Advent weekends.
