Helsingør Camping

Cosy urban campsite right by the Sound, with Hamlet’s Castle, Kronborg, as the next door neighbour

Helsingør Camping is a small, intimate campsite with an excellent location. It offers a view of the Sound, direct access to Elsinore's best beach and walking distance to the Kronborg Castle, The Maritime Museum of Denmark and the historic town centre.

Open all year

Helsingør Camping is open all year round with room for caravans, motorhomes and tents. In addition, there are 12 well-equipped cabins, accommodating up to 6 persons. The site has a mini market, wireless internet, washing machine and dryer. Families with children will appreciate the playground, bonfire place and beach volleyball on the beach.

Elsinore – a town of history and culture

Few other Danish towns have as much to offer as Elsinore. The landmark Kronborg, known as Hamlet’s and Shakespeare’s Castle, is an outstanding Renaissance castle on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Every summer Shakespeare’s works come to live during Hamlet Live and the Shakespeare Festival at Kronborg, while the younger neighbour, The Maritime Museum of Denmark, offers award-winning architecture and exciting exhibitions for all ages. The Øresund Aquarium, The Museum of Science and Technology and the well-preserved historic town centre are all reasons to visit Elsinore – not to mention the wide range of events going on all year. Read more on www.visitnordsjaelland.com

A great campsite for anglers

The proximity to the harbour, Nordhavnen, from where several fishing boats set out with anglers, make Elsinore Camping a favourite place to stay among anglers. The campsite offers fish-kitchen, drying room, a freezing option and sale of fishing licenses.

Bicycle Rental

Elsinore Camping cooperates with the Danish bike rental company Donkey Republic. You can rent quality bikes via smartphone, both in and outside office hours.

20 minutes to Sweden

Take the "pedestrian ferry" Sundbussen or one of the big Scandlines ferries across the Sound: it takes only 20 min to sail to Sweden, where Helsingborg and Scania await with new adventures.

Opening hours
