Hindemae molle

Now you have the possibility of enjoying a piece of history in quiet and idyllic surroundings. There are plenty of room in a holiday house of high quality in a rustic and authentic atmosphere. 7 bedrooms, dining area for 12 persons and a fully equipped kitchen. Further there are 3 bathrooms with tubs, offering room for the big family or a vacation group. Outside there are plenty of room with a terrace, a trampoline and a large outdoor swimming pool. The house is renovated in and around the old mill, belonging to Hindemae Estate, one of many estates on the northeast of Funen The estate is owned by Baron Gustaf Iuel-Brockdorff and dates all the way back to 1489, when Jørgen Urne build a small castle, which stood until 1725 when Admiral Hagedorn built a new half-timbered three wing building. The name Hindemae means moor of the deer, and the name of the place is probably the most charming name among the Funen estates, the historian Flemming Jerk writes. He feels that the name Hindemae is a picture of a moment in the times of forest clearing and founding of estates. Hindemae is a place where the deer came out of the woods to drink in the moor. This idyl is just a short drive from both Nyborg and the old borough Kerteminde with lots of shopping possibilities, arrangements, museums and beaches.

The place is ideal for a vacation, peace and quiet and guests enjoying beautiful nature.
