The Hirbolakes - Fishing
The Hirbolakes were excavated in the years 1961 and 1962. It took place in context with the foundation of the harbour in Rødbyhavn.
The lakes are deep with steep sides. The underwater plants have difficulties with their spreading.
All of the ice-free part of the year. Ice fishing is prohibited.
Pike, perch, bream, carp, tench and crucian carp. Pike and perch are protected during the month April. The carp and tench are protected in May. You are only allowed to catch 1 carp per day and it must be returned to the lake.
There are 2 lakes where the fishing license is valid. The lakes are 3 and 2 hectares in size with respective maximum depths of 3 and 6 m
