On the island Laesoe in the maintown Byrum situated on a hill you will find a 17 m high, red tower built of homemade, semicircular bricks.
The tower was erected in 1927 by clogmaker, bicyclerepairer and former saiolor Thorvald Hansen.
From the tower there is a view of the country for miles around.
