The Limfjord Museum
Experience the new Maritime Adventure Centre or join a guided sail arround the Limfjord Museum in Løgstør.
The mail focus of the museum is the cultural history of the Limfjord - primarly shipping and fishing - and there are a wide variety of activities for both children and adults.
Last year the Limfjord Museum opened a new maritime adventure centre which is 700 square meters. In the centre you find a new and exhibition with rigged fjord vessels and beautiful aquariums where you can pet a flatfish or touch a crab.
Throughout July and August you can also meet "the sailing biologists" that tell you exciting stories about the animails ind the fiord. Children can help cut up a fish or borrow a fishing net and life vests and what they can catch in the canal themselves. Finf out more about the schedule on the museum´s website.
Next to the museum you find the idyllic Frederik the 7 th. Canal from 1861. Throughout July and August the museums offers guided sails on the canal Tuesdayes, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 11 AM and 2 PM. Do not forget to book your trip at: +45 98 67 18 05.
