Løkken Bryghus (Brewery) brews beer of high quality from its own recipes, and if you want to taste these beers you have the opportunity to do so in the adjacent restaurant, Hovmesteren.
Løkken Brewery is located in continuation of “Smørkræmmernes Pakhus”, the “Butterpedlars Warehouse” in Løkken. “Smørkræmmernes Pakhus” was built by merchant Jens Peter Larsen (1823-1880) and is one of Løkken’s most well-known buildings. The building is now a beautiful reminder of the city’s golden age as a center of the trades between Vendsyssel and the southern part of Norway. When the coastal trade saw a downturn, Jens Peter Larsen sold the warehouse in 1867 to brewer Anders Christian Andersen.
Løkken Brewery is one of the country’s most charming micro breweries with a yearly production of about 700 hl. beer.
All the beer produced is created from their own recipes with quality ingredients, such as malt from Sophus Fuglsang in Haderselv, special malts from Castle Malting in Belgium and hops from Charles Faram.
If you are interested in a tour of the brewery this can be arranged, by contacting the brewery. Min 5, max 20 people on the tour. For more information, see the website: https://www.loekkenbryghus.dk/
