Marselisborg Yacht Harbour
Marselisborg Yacht Harbour was built in 1991 and is one of the newest in the Aarhus Area and is characterized by unconventional architecture. With the intention of creating an exclusive "seaport" with water-directed activities - the architectural environment is very special.
The harbour is also a centre of several shops and a focus place for water sport activities for instance Søspejderne, Aarhus Vandski Klub (waterskiing) and three sailing schools. There is also a playground.
Guesting sailing visitors may try these activities. Because of the lively sea environment and the many sidewalk restaurants Marselisborg Lystbådehavn is a very popular excursion spot for the people of Aarhus.
The jetty is primarily built in 6-8 metres of water and have mainly been built by broken concrete bricks from work of demolition at different places in Aarhus.
The harbour has a capacity for approx. 450 boats.
