MINDblowing Meetings praised after ICCA Best Marketing Award finale
VisitDenmark and partners were nominated for its international MINDblowing Meetings campaign and competing against Melbourne Convention Bureau, Palais des Congres de Montreal, Gdansk Convention Bureau/Gdansk Tourism Organizasation at the ICCA final in Shanghai on November 5th.
In 2011, VisitDenmark and the four regional convention bureaus in Denmark, Wonderful Copenhagen Convention Bureau, VisitAarhus Convention Bureau, VisitAalborg Convention and Inspiring Denmark, made a joint decision to create a strong meeting brand for Denmark. As a result the the Danish MINDblowing Meetings strategy and international marketing campaign was born. MINDblowing Meetings targets meeting planners and congress organisers worldwide, and its key narrative focuses on innovation, authenticity and the 'Meetovation' meeting design concept developed and actively implemented in Denmark - as well as on Denmark's core competencies within the field of sustainable event management. The campaign creatively uses these key elements and tells the story about how the Danes strive to provide their clients with the highest return on meeting investment possible by staging; MINDblowing Meetings.

More nominations for Denmark as Copenhagen reaches the ICCA Best PR Award final
In addition to the MINDblowing Meetings nomination for the Best Marketing Award, VisitDenmark's long-term strategic collaborator, Wonderful Copenhagen Convention Bureau, was also nominated for the ICCA Best PR Award 2013. The Best PR award nomination further underlines the successful marketing of MINDblowing Meetings campaign abroad and showcases how fully integrated the concept is by our fellow marketeers in Copenhagene too.
