Munklinde Moor is an approximately 90-hectare nature preserve with high moor and open heath. The moor is bounded to the east by the river of Karup Å. Access can be gained to Karup Å by crossing the moor south of Munkelinde town, at the sign "Engdraget" - a beautiful walk of about 1.4 kilometres.
Especially the bird and wild life is note-worthy, and at the river, you might be lucky and see a kingfisher!
