Red Serpent at Moesgaard Museum

Don't miss the great open-air performance Red Serpent at Moesgaard Museum. The performance is about raids, battles, gods and myths. Get close to the Viking Age with the whole family and enjoy the heroic tale of the young Viking chieftain Red Serpent, who is whirled into religious and secular strife. The performance takes place on the roof top of Moesgaard Museum and is one of the year's greatest events in Aarhus. The performance is in Danish and recommended from the age of 7.

Pentecost in The Old Town

Dive into the history of Aarhus in the extraordinary exhibition Aarhus Stories in The Old Town Museum - Den Gamle By. You can also experience Living History and get an authentic sense of stepping back in time. In Pentecost the old streets are filled with people dressed in historical clothes who act as people did in 1864.

Concert with the Danish Rock Mama Sanne Salomonsen

In the amusement park Tivoli Friheden you can enjoy a concert with the Danish Rock Mama Sanne Salomonsen. The amusement park offers endless fun with plenty of swings, roundabouts and exiting activities. You get free entrance to Tivoli Friheden with the AarhusCARD.

Pentecost at ARoS

There are something for everyone at ARoS Aarhus Art Museum. During Pentecost you can enjoy the temporary exhibition Human Nature and The Garden - The Past which is one of the greatest events for the official programme for Aarhus as European Capital of Culture 2017. When you are at ARoS you must make sure to take a view over the city from the colourful windows of Your rainbow panorama. End your visit with a dinner at ARoS FOOD HALL.

Experience Aarhus Vocal Festival – the biggest festival of rhythmic vocal music in Europe. Enjoy more than 60 concerts and participate in a wide range of exciting workshops and lectures, all facilitated by specialized and internationally renowned instructors.

Explore the World with Aarhus

Feel the festive atmosphere when the streets of Aarhus will be filled with concerts, entertainment, music, dancing and cultural performances. Explore the World with Aarhus is a 2-day city festival in Aarhus. Make great bargains at the shops, which are open till midnight. Watch the annual parade with music, dance and great costumes from all over the word Friday the 2nd of June at 6:00 PM when it comes around the city and don't miss the beautiful firework show at midnight.

Aarhus Pride Parade

Watch the parade when it comes through central Aarhus and celebrates the diversity in Aarhus with music and joy. The purpose of Aarhus Pride is to contribute to the respect for and acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people - also known as LGBT. The parade ends in a festival at Officerspladsen under the rainbow of ARoS Aarhus Art Museum.

Justin Bieber Concert in Aarhus

Join the party when Justin Bieber in Pentecost comes to Aarhus with his famous Purpose World Tour. If you are a belieber you must not miss it when the Canadian star performs hits like "What Do You Mean?", "Sorry" and "Love Yourself". Rudimental, Gnash and Goldroom will warm up before Justin Bieber takes over the stage.
