Poulstrup Sø (Lake) and Dall Hede (Moor) are beautiful natural resorts with many lakes, moor, pasture and forest. The lake lays beautiful between the hills. Marked hiking trails make it easy to find your way around in the area.
There are also marked trails for mountain bike and horseback riding. The area has a great biodiversity. Many bird species breed by the lakes and in the forest. There is a good chance to see a lizard and adders, sunbathing on the cliffs.
Second World War
During the Second World War, the Germans used the area for military training for combat vehicles and therefore destroyed much of the area. After the war, Aalborg Municipality bought the area, it quickly tourned in to at popular destination. Poulstrup Sø is one of the municipality’s ”free fishing places”.
