Memorial to Prins Ferdinant placed in Dyrhaven.
A bronce Alladinlamp on a cementbase with the inscription 'Raised by a greatful father'.
One day in the spring of 1839 Prince Ferdinant and Princess Caroline stopped here with their hunting party to have a picnic. The merchant Kindler from Skanderborg asked the Prince to support his son who had a talent for music.
The Prince granted his wish and sent the boy to the Royal School of Music in Copenhagen.
To show the Prince his gratitude Kindler raised the memorial on this very spot.
