Meetings in Denmark

Quick lists

Purpose: To ensure that participants are involved and that they use their knowledge, instead of simply informing participants.

Use

When the participants' knowledge must be brought into play.

Method

Ask the participants to make a list of what they know about a given topic. Subsequently these lists are used as a starting point for establishing a common understanding of the topic.

Why involve your meeting participants

Active involvement makes meetings more valuable because:

  1. It helps you make better decisions
  2. It increases networking and knowledge sharing
  3. It engages and motivates the participants
