Chefs Fabbio Mazzon and Morten Kaltoft have joined forces to create this delightful Italian eatery, FAMO, in Copenhagen.
The place is light and airy, the walls are decorated with colourful oil paintings, and in the middle of the room thrones a Ferrari of a meat slicing machine, geared to cutting paper-thin slices of the imported prosciuttos.
The food is delicious and there is no need to hyperventilate about too many choices on the menu, there is only one.
Real Italian menu
Once seated, there is a continuous flow of delicate antipasti, followed by pasta, a sumptuous main course, and a dessert.
The wine card offers a good selection of wines in all price ranges, including some very fine labels. If in doubt, ask the waiters who will gladly assist you in selecting the wine that goes best with your meal.
FAMO has been awarded the prestigious Bib Gourmand in Guide Michelin Nordic Cities 2015, given for high quality food at affordable prices.
