One of the few contemporary places in the village is the inn’s kitchen. It is based on the wild fauna and unique foods of the marsh where the Executive Kitchen Chef, Jakob Sullestad, makes a virtue of finding wild herbs, berries and crabs.
Summer in the village oozes of ancient culture, heritage and ambience with many folk musicians, shopkeepers and artists contributing to its atmosphere and charm. Having lunch in the inn's cozy and enclosed garden completes the experience and gives you peace to enjoy and just be. We serve a large selection of Fanoe Beer, homemade snaps and chilled white wines.
In the evening, we go all in and welcome guests in the inn's wonderful rustic and authentic living rooms where we recommend our exclusive 5 course evening menu accompanied by a carefully selected wine menu.
