Ærø Bryggeri

Stop by Ærø's cosy microbrewery, Ærø Bryggeri, in the village of Store Rise.

Join a beer tasting and guided tour, have a great lunch and get inspired in the beautiful shop.

The historic buildings where Ærø Bryggeri is housed today were built in 1880 as a dairy. In 1926, a small brewery was established in the buildings and beer was brewed until 1962. After a break, the brewery reopened on local initiative in 2004 under the name Rise Bryggeri, thus becoming part of the steadily growing number of microbreweries in Denmark.

Ærø Bryggeri is a year-round business that brews approx. 250,000 litres of beer per year. In addition, there is a well-stocked brewery shop and a beer parlour offering beer, snacks and good food. Beer tastings and tours are organised throughout the year.

The brewery's opening hours vary by season.
