ROAR shelter site
The shelter at the ROAR place is open for a night or two to travellers passing by on their route. It is situated 20 metres from a pebbled beach with a wooden pier.
Tents and bonfires are not allowed. Drinking water available by the workshop building. The toilet in the cottage may be used when it is open.
The place must be left in a clean and orderly condition.
Due to breeding birds the islands and islets in Roskilde Fjord are preserved. Access therefore is prohibited from 1st April to 15th July as is any traffic within 50 meters from the islands and islets.
Granbakken is on your right side of Hornsherredvej (when coming from Roskilde) - 2.5 km north of Lyndby. The area belongs to the ROAR cottage. Walk towards the seaside, cross the moved grass area and pass the cottage. The shelter is by the thicket.
