Silent reflection
Purpose: To let people sense what is important to them in a lecture or in a plenary discussion.
Use
During or after a presentation, or whenever you need a reflection.
Method
Have a small break during a plenary session where each participant reflects on a specific topic and writes down pointers on a piece of paper.
Why involve your meeting participants
Active involvement makes meetings more valuable because:
- It helps you make better decisions
- It increases networking and knowledge sharing
- It engages and motivates the participants
