Silent reflection

Meetings in Denmark
Purpose: To let people sense what is important to them in a lecture or in a plenary discussion.

Use

During or after a presentation, or whenever you need a reflection.

Method

Have a small break during a plenary session where each participant reflects on a specific topic and writes down pointers on a piece of paper.

Why involve your meeting participants

Active involvement makes meetings more valuable because:

  1. It helps you make better decisions
  2. It increases networking and knowledge sharing
  3. It engages and motivates the participants
