One of the oldest and most wonderful parks of the Northern Jutland is ‘Skanseparken’ at the top of ‘Skansebakken’ in Nørresundby. The park is approximately 4,5 ha. and was originally landscaped in the 1600’s; a serious period in the Danish history where Jutland was occupied by the German emperor.
The amazing view of the city and fjord from ‘Skansebakken’ makes ‘Skanseparken’ a place where one can escape the stress and noice of the everyday life and relax in beautiful nature and green areas.
‘Skanseparken’ is to this day one of the most beautiful parks in the council of Aalborg and a beloved place for excursion spots for the citizens of Aalborg and visitors from the rest of Denmark and abroad.
It is possible to go there by car, bicycle, by walking or bus line 17.
