Sønderho Kro anno 1722

Sønderho Kro is probably one of the oldest in the country, but our kitchen is at the forefront of the latest gastronomy.

One of the few contemporary places in the village is the inn’s kitchen. It is based on the wild fauna and unique foods of the marsh where the inn owner, Jakob Sullestad, makes a virtue of finding wild herbs, berries and crabs. Summer in the village oozes of culture, heritage and ambience with many folk musicians, shopkeepers and artists contributing to its atmosphere and charm. Having lunch in the inn's cozy and enclosed garden completes the experience and gives you peace to enjoy the setting. We serve a large selection of Fanø Beer, homemade snaps and chilled white wines.

In the evening we go all in and welcome guests in the inn's wonderful rustic and authentic living rooms where we recommend our exclusive 5 course evening menu accompanied by a carefully selected wine menu.
