Special clay design
Book here: Raku Burning
Try to decorate a bowl in clay and then get it burned to finish.
Activity for the whole family. Raku burning is an old Japanese tradition. The decorated bowl is burned in a special way, which make the surface of the bowl to crack and the colours to form. After burning, the bowl is cooled in water, and then it must be scrubbed clean to make the colours emerge.
The bowl can be taken home.
Practical wear is advisable, as the clothes may smell of smoke afterwards. In case of bad weather, the decoration will take place in a tent on the terrace.
