St. Hans Hospital Museum

The Sct. Hans Centre of Psychiatry was founded in 1816 and is the oldest psychiatric hotel in Denmark. The Museum is situated in the basement of "Kurhus" (the Cure House) in the western area. 

The exhibition includes:
The history of the hospital, The furniture of the wards, Straitjacket and chair, Therapy equipment, A unique collection of psychopathologic art consisting of paintings, drawings and sculptures mainly made by schizophrenic patients.
