The Urania Observatory

Look at stars and planets through a big telescope. The Urania Observatory in Aalborg contains the largest publicly accessible refracting telescope in Denmark, giving closeups of heavenly bodies. It also contains a collection of instruments, photographs etc. from 1890.

The Urania Observatory is a public observatory which is owned by Aalborg Municipality and is runned by volunteers from "Nordjysk Astronomisk Forening for Amatører".
