Vallum Lake

Just east of the city Ryomgård lies Vallum Lake. On the west side of the lake is a lot of forest. The peri-urban location and public path systems make the lake a very attractive natural area.

The lake flows into the Ryom stream there are further connected to Kolindsund Channels with outflow in the Kattegat in Grenaa.
Vallum Lake with a size of 11 ha of a relatively small and shallow lake, average depth is 2.1 meters and maximum depth is 3.2 meters.
In the woods by the lake there are some deer and red deer were observed just as in 2009 has seen an otter in the lake and bird life is rich around the lake
