Practical Information

No horse? No problem!

Want to ride in Denmark but don’t have a horse? That’s no problem. In fact, you don’t even have to be able to ride in order to enjoy a horse riding holiday in Denmark. Equestrian centres and riding schools around the country offer week-long stays with full or half-board, with or without lessons.

A week’s riding holiday in Denmark, including accommodation, will cost upwards of 3,000kr, plus extra for full or half-board.

Prairie wagon holidays

If you are up for an unusual adventure, why not pack the family up and roll out on a prairie wagon holiday? No previous experience is required, so it’s the perfect holiday experience for families with children. A week with a prairie wagon will cost between 4,000 and 6,000kr in the high season and between 3,500 and 4,500kr in the low season. A weekend costs around 2,000kr.
