The Aarhus Maritime Museum
The Aarhus Maritime Museum demonstrates the great significance of maritime trade for shipping in the Port of Aarhus and the ensuing development of the city of Aarhus. The museum is set in a former terminal building at Containerterminal Nord in Aarhus Harbour.
 
Authentic atmosphere
Once inside, you are greeted by the nautical smells of ropes and tar after which you enter an exhibition with pictures, paintings, watercolours, models, navigation equipment, books, periodicals, lifesaving equipment, radio equipment, press cuttings, charts, flags, coats-of-arms, emblems, and much much more.
