The Ansgar Church in Hedehusene is characterised by the renovation, which resulted in a beautiful and modern interior.

Consecrated on 26 December 1921, the interior of the church was totally renovated at the beginning of 2000.

In December 2004 the church was re-consecrated with a new flexible interior illuminated by a firmament of glow lamps and with chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen in replacement of the wooden benches.
