AQUA
AQUA Aquarium & Animal Park is an untraditional attraction in Silkeborg, which opened in May 1993. Here you can see the rare freshwater otter - together with birds, fish, newts, frogs, insects and plenty of aquatic plants from lakes, streams and ponds. AQUA is built in a different way than other aquaria. The round building is lowered into a large lake. Therefore the visitors are right in the middle of where things happen, and through the large aquarium windows you can experience the exciting life in the lake.
English guided tours can be arranged.
