Askehøj Camping is a childfriendly campsite on the egde of the forest Linå Vesterskov, north of Julsø. An El Dorado for friends of the nature. This campsite has the forest as its neighbour, where hiking routes are marked. With the lake nearby there are good possibilities of fishing and sailing/canoeing.  Put-and-take area at 1 km from the site. Go by Sejsvej (The Lakeroad) from Silkeborg, through Sejs and Svejbæk, coming from Ry go through Laven and Gl. Laven, or take the exit by “Linå Bakke” (Linå Hill) towards “Svejbæk”/”Laven” from the road between Århus and Silkeborg.

Newly renovated swimmingpool with a waterslide of about 20 meters, deck chairs and extra room by the childrens pool. Free warm water in the kitchen and family- and showerroom.  

In the peak season there is an addendum of DKK 30 per pitch.
