The original Lille Mølle (Little Mill) was built in 1669 at Løvens Bastion, one of many ramparts that used to form the city's extensive fortification system. There is still an old mill at the site, but unfortunately the wings were removed in 1897, and also the top of the mill was lost in a storm. For years, Lille Mølle was used as a private residence, but since 1996, it has housed a beautiful restaurant, serving up delicious Danish dishes for lunch and dinner. Tables laid with white linnen and candelabra provide a lovely ambiance, and if you are considering a romantic brunch for two, there is surely no better place than this. The magnificent brunch buffet is a treat for the senses.
