In 2014 the Comwell chain opens a new hotel in Aarhus
The new 4-star hotel will be the largest in Aarhus with 240 rooms, and with conference facilities for up to 500 guests. The spectacular new construction will have two towers interconnected by a glass building. It will be a slender building in a clean, Scandinavian style of design.
 
Sustainable and innovative facilities
When completed in 2014, Comwell Aarhus can welcome guests to the hotel chain's newest conference hotel with modern conference facilities, inspiring interior design, and culinary delights at the hotel’s two restaurants.

In addition to becoming almost the tallest building in Aarhus, surpassed only by Aarhus Cathedral, the building will, quite uniquely, also be the very first commercial building in Aarhus to meet energy rating class 1 criteria. The building has solar panels built in to the south facade and on the roof, which will supply electricity to the building.
 
Central location
The hotel will be at one of Aarhus’ most central locations at the former central railway workshop between the 'Spanien' indoor swimming pools centre and the Bruun’s Galleri shopping mall.
