Copenhagen Prison Museum
See how life in a prison cell in Copenhagen has evolved since 1662 in Copenhagen Prison Museum, located in Vestre Prison. The museum is run by volunteers who have previously been employed in the Copenhagen Prisons.
You can see things the prisoners have produced over time, hear about various escape attempts, and you can visit a cell anno 1895.
The museum fills the attic. Groups of max 15 persons. Admission by appointment only.
