De Ægyptiske Søjler
'De ægyptiske Søjler' (the Egyptian Columns) are made of granite.
They are made in a very special way - they are twirled and therefore very smooth. The columns are serveral thousand years old. They came from a quarry in Aswan in Egypt. They have travelled through Italy to Denmark where they have been used in the now demolished Antvorskov Monastery near the town Slagelse.
