'Designer Zoo' is a Danish handicrafts and designs concept which has been around, with great success, for the past 11 years in Copenhagen. 'Designer Zoo' represent some 25 – 30 Danish craft worker-designers of ceramics, glassware, textiles, and jewellery, and also endeavour to present non-typical and unexpected one-off handicrafts.
 
In Aarhus you find the shop in the 'Latin Quarter' where you can also see and purchase the popular bean-shaped tables designed by Karsten Lauritsen, owner and conceptualist of 'Designer Zoo'.
