'Dronningens Ferieby' is the first holiday resort in Europe specially designed and adapted to handicapped persons. It consists of 5 semi-detached houses and 34 detached houses of very high quality. The houses, measuring 75 m2, have a combined sitting room and kitchen. The main bedroom has to beds and plenty of cupboards. The single bedroom has two bunks. The coach in the sitting room can be used as a fifth bed. The bathroom has a toilet and shower. Each house has a washing machine, tumbler drier, dish-washer, pay telephone, TV and a parking place just outside the door. In the activity-house there are playstations and computergames. Sunbed and a littel library.
