Føvling Church
The Church is built in the end of the 12th century.
The original and still existing part of the church, apsies, choir and nowe is build in romanesque style in granite. Inside of the church is used a vulcanic material "tuff", in the apsis and around doors and windows.
This material was sailed from the Eiffelmountains south of Cologne to Ribe, and used as a building material not only in the Cathedral, but also in many other churches in the area.
