The 5 km Veteran Railway in Hedeland close to Roskilde is the longest narrow gauge vintage railway in Denmark.  Every year between May and September the trains run in the former large gravel pit which is now converted into the recreational area of Hedeland.

The tours of approx. 10 km through the beautiful nature of Hedeland will take you back to a past century and maybe bring back sweet memories. The trains run by steam or diesel locos.

Departures at 10.30 and from then on every 45 min. until 3.30 pm.
